The Medieval Recreations Club is an educational club dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. We are a part of a larger organization consisting of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries all over the world.
Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which may feature tournaments, arts exhibits, classes, workshops, dancing, feasts, and more. Our "royalty" hold courts at which they recognize and honor members for their contributions to the group.
We work-along side with the Muncie chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), called The Shire of Afonlyn [external link]

We have an upcoming event with the date still to be announced. Click here for a information about the Dance & Desert Revel.
Want to learn how to fight?
Have you ever wanted to see what it was like in the days of old when men and women took the field of battle?
Join us on Monday nights at West Side Park from 5:30 to 9:00 for our heavy and light weapon fighter practices! Everyone is welcome to join, this is a social practice as well, not just for those who fight.
West Side Park is located on the corner of White River Boulevard and Tillotson just before you cross the river.
